Just had a look at Autotrader U.K., there are nearly three times more VXR8s on it that VX220s.
Under the guise of VXR8 are cars badged as Vauxhalls and Holdens
Going for £24,000 and down for a 2013 model and older.
There’s this 2010 model Holden Ute 6.0 V8 for £22,995
There’s this 2018 GTS-R 595 V8 for £74,500 with just 15 miles on the clock.

Very nice. God that GTSR is overdone. But I guess the market wants/wanted it.
I suppose it’s not so surprising that there aren’t as many VX220s. They’re such a niche car. Even the faster Commodores are still big practical sedans.
I’d prefer a VX220 any day of the week.

I think the GTS-R is a ridiculous price and ultimately they’ll have to drop the price to move it on.
I can understand the VX220s though. Why have a Lotus built angular Vauxhall when you can but a Lotus built Lotus Elise with some nice curves.

You’re probably right. But it’s probably unique in the market and it’s best and last of breed. If it were Aus, someone would snap it up.

Here, it would be bought by someone with money, automotive passion or both as the road tax each year would be quite high and the fuel bill quite high.
It needs to be advertised on not just Autotrader but PistonHeads and Performance Vauxhall, etc...
